How Clueless Escape Rooms came to be

Building and creating things has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in construction - the Always Building Company in Ann Arbor - building everything from decks to additions.

In addition to that business, I’m channeling my creative energy into Clueless Escape Rooms, an activity that challenges the mind while generating a ton of fun.

I first visited an escape room in 2016 and was immediately drawn to the room’s construction; how it was put together, how the puzzles were crafted.

Five months later I started my own escape room business with a partner. I personally designed each of the four rooms in the facility. The idea was to develop a unique environment to entertain others.

It is so rewarding to watch customers work together to solve puzzles while having a good time.

Escape rooms are perfect for professional team building. It’s amazing to see what each participant contributes to escaping. Afterwards the conference room provides a comfortable setting to discuss “what just happened”.
